WHAT IS GROOVEGRASS?

GrooveGrass is several styles of music combined to make a
previously non existing style. It's parts come from the roots of:
Traditional American music-Bluegrass-Country-Funk & Blues.

WHAT IS IT'S PURPOSE?

GrooveGrass is designed to make it's listeners curious of
it's origin and coax them toward discovering the musical trea-
sures put here by legends such as: Bill Monroe-Jimmie Rodgers-Doc Watson-Mac Wiseman-George Clinton-
Del McCoury-James Brown-The Carter Family-Roy Acuff-
Roger Troutman-Ralph Stanley-Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs-
Bootsy Collins-Kitty Wells-Wilma Lee and Stoney Cooper just
to name a very few.

WHO ARE WE?

The people at GrooveGrass Recordings and those
involved with us are people just like you. We love Traditional
American music and want to insure it's legacy is passed on to the next generation by putting it into a form that is palatable to modern popular culture. We're not trying to change any of
these styles of music, we're just trying to get them to a generation that doesn't know they exist.
